Michael Bahnmiller is a composer and orchestrator who writes for television, film, and advertisement. He has been fortunate to write music that has been performed/recorded by The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, The Salt Lake Pops Orchestra, BYU’s Noteworthy, the BYU Philharmonic Orchestra, and international performers. He has composed music for Academy Award-winning producer Rob Fried (Rudy), as well as for the Library of Congress and for corporate clients who manage millions of customers. As a performer, Michael has sung with the BYU Men’s Chorus alongside Brian Stokes Mitchell.

Since arriving in Los Angeles in 2014, Michael has had the opportunity to work on a variety of big budget films and work with some of the finest composers and orchestrators working in film and TV. As a composer and orchestrator, Michael has had the great fortune to work with and be mentored by Philip Klein, and as a music preparer, Michael has had the opportunity to work with Conrad Pope and Kevin Kaska, and has worked on films such as The Jungle Book, Independence Day: Resurgence, The BFG, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Jason Bourne, and many others.

Michael has a passion for kayaking, is a voracious reader, and casually plays the duduk (an Armenian woodwind instrument).
